Job Title: Design Manager

At Intereum Holdings LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to join our team. As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the design team within the local market, focusing on training, mentoring, and workload distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage the design team to ensure efficient and effective department performance.
  • Uphold company policies and maintain high ethical standards in design.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure design standards are met and deliver high-quality work for all clients.
  • Monitor project progress and address issues.
  • Provide feedback and support for skill development.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of dealership design experience, with a proven track record of managing and mentoring.
  • Bachelor's degree in interior design or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of interior commercial construction, architecture, design, and contract furnishings.
  • In-depth product knowledge and application, including expertise with Herman Miller and Knoll products.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and developing design teams, with a focus on mentorship and professional growth.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently with a designer and a team effectively.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, CET, CAP, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, and commercial furniture industry software, as well as willingness to learn and train on new systems.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date with industry trends.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships.
  • Ability to travel locally to support projects and meet with team members, and occasionally be available for overnight travel for training and development.
