About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Hillcrest Hospital Cushing. As a CT Tech, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the C.T. scanner to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Transport patients to and from the department, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Handle telephone scheduling of inpatients and outpatients, providing excellent customer service.
  • Call physicians with exam results, maintaining effective communication.
  • Administer contrast fluid and demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions.
  • Operate the PACS computer system with proficiency.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance departmental efficiency.
  • Assist with other activities as needed to support the day-to-day operation of the department.
Requirements
  • Vocational or technical education in radiologic technology.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) or registry eligibility.
  • BLS certification.
  • Previous experience in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced certification in CT.
