Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned RN with a passion for leadership and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. As a Unit Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Trauma ER, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of RNs and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions and communication
  • Monitor and report on unit performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to RNs to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • At least one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience
  • More than 2 years of Registered Nurse clinical experience specific to the focus of nursing unit preferred
  • Associate Degree RNs within one year of completing their BSN
  • BSN or MSN preferred
  • BLS required. Specialty certification (as required by unit) within 1 year of hire
  • Licensed to practice as an RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia
