Under the general oversight of a site supervisor, the role involves all physical tasks associated with the installation of synthetic turf fields. This position requires overnight travel.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of the field upon arrival.
- Manage and position aluminum stencils for inlaid field markings.
- Utilize straight edges effectively.
- Precisely cut turf using scissors and razor knives.
- Embed turf markings and logos into hot glue.
- Evaluate seam quality and bond strength of glued turf.
- Conduct cleanup around the job site.
- Support the walk-through process upon job completion.
- Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
- Adhere to all safety policies, practices, and procedures, reporting any unsafe activities to the supervisor and Human Resources.
- Contribute to the achievement of company objectives.
- Assist colleagues in reaching company goals.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the department supervisor.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- A clean criminal background is necessary.
- Must be drug-free and pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
