Job Summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Specimen Processing Group Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Specimen Processing department, you will be responsible for leading a team of Specimen Technicians, providing input to supervisors for performance review and disciplinary action, and assisting with schedule coordination and general supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of Specimen Technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks and projects
Assist department supervisors with performance review and disciplinary action, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all employees
Coordinate schedules and workflows to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime
Provide input on process and compliance audits, ensuring adherence to Quest Diagnostics Incorporated policies and procedures

Requirements

Minimum of one year of experience in a related role, preferably in a laboratory environment
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical departments and external clients
Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
High school diploma or equivalent, with a medical background preferred
