Job Summary:
Allina Health is a leading healthcare organization in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. We are seeking a skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team and provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being.
- Practice in a thoughtful manner, considering cultural diversity, individual autonomy, and legal responsibilities.
- Participate in a multidisciplinary team approach to case management.
- Utilize quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in patient care and outcomes.
- May participate in peer review and quality assurance.
Requirements:
- MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required.
- BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required.
- Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain).
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable.
- BLS/ACLS required within 180 days of hire.
Work Environment:
Our clinic is a multispecialty setting with a professional and fun culture. We believe laughter is great medicine. Clinic hours are Monday: 7:30am-6pm, Friday: 7:30am-5pm, and closed Saturday-Sunday. We use the comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) system, Excellian.
