Sales Team Leader

Position Summary

The Product Merchandiser plays a crucial role in ensuring that products are well-presented and accessible to consumers in retail environments. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing product visibility and sales performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Organizes and rotates merchandise on shelves, in coolers, and on displays at retail locations.
  2. Reconstructs displays to attract customers and boost sales while ensuring proper signage is utilized.
  3. Maintains an orderly and rotated stock in the backroom.
  4. Regularly communicates with the NA Brand Manager and Sales Representatives to uphold inventory levels and ensure accuracy in product dating.
  5. Develops strong business relationships with retail partners.
  6. Acts as a brand representative in all interactions with clients and the public.
  7. Delivers exceptional service to clients and positively represents Schott Distributing.
  8. Completes additional tasks as assigned to enhance retail sales effectiveness.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This role does not include supervisory duties.

Work Environment

The work setting includes both office and warehouse environments, with frequent visits to retail accounts and some outdoor exposure. The role involves the use of standard office equipment such as computers and phones, as well as warehouse tools like forklifts and hand trucks.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands for various tasks, reach with arms, and communicate effectively. Frequent standing, walking, and bending are required, along with occasional sitting and climbing. The employee must be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 30 pounds.

Position Type and Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, with work hours typically scheduled from Monday to Saturday, totaling 40 hours per week. Some evening and weekend work may be necessary.

Travel Requirements

Travel is primarily local during business hours, with occasional out-of-area travel expected.

Qualifications
