Job Title: Mechanic Technician

About the Role:
As a Mechanic Technician at Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc., you will play a critical role in maintaining the company's fleet of harvest equipment. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of our tractors, trucks, and other machinery, enabling us to meet our production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain light trucks, semi-trucks, and tractors to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Maintain a strong safety culture by adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Comprehend and utilize the work order system, SAP, to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex hydraulic and electrical systems on pea and corn combines.
  • Perform light truck PMs, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of drive components.
  • Identify and remove foreign material from combines and products.
  • Weld equipment as needed.
  • Drive seasonal harvest operator crews to worksites.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

Requirements:
  • 6 months minimum related experience or technical school degree/certificate.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret service manuals and work order systems.
  • Valid driver's license and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
