Job Title: Physician Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Scientist to join our team at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals. As a Physician Scientist, you will play a leading role in our translational genetics program, working closely with our multi-disciplinary team to design, implement, and interpret large-scale human genetics studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and lead human genetics studies to deliver medically relevant findings in a team-based environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in clinical development to apply genetic data and insights to the design, conduct, or interpretation of clinical research activities.
  • Represent the TAG team in cross-functional initiatives within Regeneron.
  • Prepare tables, figures, written reports, and results summaries; draft portions of scientific manuscripts, internal reports, and patent applications.

Requirements:

  • MD or MD/Ph.D. with a strong background in human genetics or genetic epidemiology.
  • Training and experience in translational human genetics, genetic epidemiology, or related fields.
  • Strong quantitative skills and familiarity with statistical genetics, including polygenic scores, quantitative traits analyses, rare variant analyses, GWAS, and Mendelian randomization.
  • Familiarity with command-line interface, programming languages, and statistical software (e.g., R, Python).
