Job Overview

Strong Excavation is seeking an experienced Heavy Construction Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy construction equipment including dozers, loaders, front-end loaders, bobcats, backhoes, and scrapers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy construction equipment safely and efficiently
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Perform maintenance tasks such as greasing, oil changes, and tire rotations
  • Assist in excavating, moving, and grading earth
  • Coordinate with other crew members to achieve project goals
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment
  • Able to read and understand plans, set lasers, and read elevations
  • Familiarity with trenching and sloping procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
Estimated Salary

$65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience
