Overview

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment, power injectors, and other medical devices to produce high-quality scans for diagnostic and invasive procedures.
  • Provide quality care to patients receiving diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical devices and technologies, applying your knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and protocols.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, registered with the ARRT.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in CT, with one year of experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced certification in CT preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association.
