Welcome all patients and their family members, ensuring a high standard of customer service. Responsible for managing patient appointment scheduling, adjusting for urgent cases, verifying insurance details, and maintaining electronic medical records. Assist with billing operations for the medical practice, including processing insurance claims, gathering billing data, and managing accounts receivable and payable. Function as part of a centralized medical office, performing any necessary duties within the scope of competence and legal boundaries. Complete additional tasks as assigned. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, physicians, department heads, and leadership members. Utilize strong organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently. Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Explorer, and PowerPoint. Maintain professionalism and composure in all situations. Ensure accurate and honest performance in all coding, billing, and claims submission processes to guarantee that only legitimate funds are retained by the organization.
