Position Summary:
The primary role involves translating departmental requirements into IT development specifications. Collaborate with departmental users to clarify, confirm, and document their needs. These documented requirements will guide internal or vendor programming teams in designing and developing system enhancements. Involvement in project management for portfolio acquisitions and systems conversions is also expected. Some international travel may be required.

Assessing user requirements, defining project scope and boundaries, and advising on project prioritization based on cost/benefit evaluations.
Transforming business operational needs into project requirement documents for system enhancement development.
Coordinating with departmental users to validate needs and effectively communicating those to information systems teams.
Providing project management support to ensure seamless integration of operational and financial systems functionality.
Assisting in the development, unit testing, regression testing, functional testing, and User Acceptance Testing for high-priority projects or enhancements to internal systems.
Collaborating closely with business units to identify and document current usage of various databases to achieve unified usage and functionality, particularly for planned database consolidations.
Creating ad hoc reports as necessary to meet business user reporting requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree - BS or BA, preferably in business-related or applicable fields.
General knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a fully automated, full-service financial services environment.
Alternatively, 2-4 years in project management addressing complex user challenges in similar industries.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities; logical and critical thinker with the capacity to innovate beyond existing business paradigms.
Familiarity with project management methodologies.
Proven time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated initiative and personal integrity.
This position is onsite. The salary range for this role is between $50,000 and $70,000, contingent upon relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. The work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm CST, with potential for overtime and travel as required.
