Job Description

Innovative Workforce Solution Ltd is seeking a skilled Motor Claims Adjuster to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional to handle claims related to general insurance policies, from initial stages through to settlement and recoveries. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively with stakeholders to ensure accurate claim processing throughout its lifecycle.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing First Notification of Loss (FNOL) against policy schedules, registering claims, and escalating unusual cases to management.
  • Achieving assigned objectives and efficiently managing claims within allocated files, adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensuring claim entry accuracy and updating reserves at each touchpoint.
  • Handling a portfolio of recovery files, including debtor and creditor statement reconciliations.
  • Processing claims payments while maintaining accuracy in payment records.
  • Following the Insurance Complaint Management procedures diligently.
  • Identifying potential recovery at the outset of claims and sending holding letters to identified negligent parties.
  • Reviewing final claims submissions before recommending payment.
  • Participating in monthly claims reviewing process.
  • Supporting the investigation of potential fraudulent claims.
  • Liaising with Brokers and Third-Party Insurers on claim-related matters.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in claim processing.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of general insurance policies and claims handling procedures.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and opportunities for professional development.
