Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
Responsibilities
The Precision Machinist Specialist will be responsible for:
- Setting up and operating various types of conventional or automatic machines to produce precision parts and instruments
- Machining parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders
- Inspecting completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications
- Communicating effectively with co-workers, team leads, inspectors, and management
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in machining or a related field
- Excellent mathematical skills and knowledge of blueprint reading
- Strong technical expertise and manual dexterity
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment
