Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician/Hotel Plumber to join our team at Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plumbing systems, ensuring the comfort and safety of our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, kitchens, and public areas.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls, diagnose and resolve urgent plumbing problems to minimize damage and ensure guest safety and comfort.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all plumbing work complies with local, state, and federal plumbing codes, maintain a safe working environment by following all health and safety procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure seamless operation of all building systems, coordinate with other departments to minimize disruptions during repairs and maintenance.
  • Inventory and Supplies: Maintain inventory of plumbing supplies and equipment, order necessary supplies and manage inventory efficiently.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program or vocational training.
  • Valid plumbing license as required by local laws.
  • Proven experience as a plumber, preferably in a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
