We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Server to join our team at California Food Management LLC. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain positive relationships with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Execute the Service Success Steps to deliver a high-quality guest experience.
- Handle guest complaints in a professional and timely manner, ensuring a resolution and inviting guests to return.
- Communicate guest food orders and service requests accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain knowledge of IHOP terminology, abbreviations, and menu items.
- Comply with cash handling procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Stock and rotate supplies in the service areas and dining room.
- Adhere to health, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
- Clear, clean, and reset tables, and perform cleaning duties as assigned.
- Comply with uniform and appearance standards.
- Perform other assignments or tasks as assigned by management.

Education and ExperiencePrior experience or training is desired, but may not be required.
Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write guest checks and simple correspondence. Ability to read and speak English well enough to understand guest checks, read instructions, and communicate with guests.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
