We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Ascension Wisconsin. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Responsibilities- Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physicians to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Administer contrast media and medications as needed, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Monitor patient activity during procedures and report any abnormalities to the physician.
- Ensure that imaging equipment is properly maintained and functioning correctly.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
- One or more of the following certifications required: Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), or Medical Sonographer (ARDMS).
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree required.
