Role Summary

We are in search of a meticulous and organized Logistics Asset Management Specialist to become a vital part of our team. This role is essential for overseeing the logistics related to asset transportation and storage, managing the asset library, and ensuring precise tracking and labeling of all assets.

Key Qualifications

Experience: Proven background in logistics, asset management, or a similar domain, with a focus on high-security or military-grade assets. Familiarity with handling military equipment is preferred.

Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, and adeptness at juggling multiple responsibilities efficiently. Excellent communication skills are crucial for effective interaction with team members, designated responsible individuals (DRIs), and external partners.

Technical Proficiency: Competence in inventory management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy items as necessary for logistics and asset management tasks.

Additional Information

Work Schedule: Full-time, 100% On-Site, Monday to Friday.

Core Responsibilities
  • Shipping and Receiving: Oversee all facets of shipping and receiving operations, including freight logistics. Ensure timely and accurate communication of shipping details to DRIs.
  • Asset Management: Supervise the check-in and check-out processes for assets within the library. Maintain precise records and ensure proper handling and storage.
  • Inventory Audits: Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of inventory records.
  • Asset Labeling: Generate and affix labels to assets, ensuring proper tracking within the inventory system.
  • Transportation Coordination: Manage the logistics of transporting assets to and from various locations, ensuring all items are accounted for and documented appropriately.
