Key Responsibilities:

  1. Arrive at work punctually, dressed appropriately, including wearing a nametag.
  2. Provide administrative assistance to sales team members as required.
  3. Coordinate and manage details for assigned group events, ensuring on-site support.
  4. Strive to ensure guest satisfaction with products and services.
  5. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all hotel services, features, and operational hours.
  6. Anticipate guest needs, responding promptly and acknowledging all guests, regardless of the time of day.
  7. Draft, type, and edit correspondence while developing and maintaining follow-up task systems.
  8. Prepare monthly sales reports as requested.
  9. Anticipate and prepare necessary documents for meetings while maintaining various reports.
  10. Keep track of special event dates and print daily and weekly reports.
  11. Maintain organized files to ensure effective coordination of sales commitments and customer requirements.
  12. Provide pertinent information to all departments as necessary, manage incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and investigate issues when appropriate.
  13. Respond to assigned Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for group and transient segments.
  14. Handle inquiry calls and follow up with assigned accounts.
  15. Develop new business opportunities with prospective clients and nurture relationships with existing customers.
  16. Conduct research, analysis, and outreach to prospective customers as assigned.
  17. Negotiate and respond to incoming requests as needed.
  18. Exhibit superior sales skills that lead to successful closures and the establishment of professional business relationships.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel and possession of a valid driver's license.
