We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist - CRT to join our team at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. As a CRT Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Apply and operate acute care ventilators for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
- Work independently in the absence of the full-time Team Leader.
- Maintain accurate records and enter information into the hospital computer for therapy sessions.
- Set up and administer routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures for patients of all ages.
- Completion of a Vocational/Technical program or an AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree); Bachelor Degree preferred.
- Current Florida State License (CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist.
- American Heart Association BLS health care provider required.
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP within 6 months of hire.
- Frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and moving equipment.
