Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Providence Medford Medical Center. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our diagnostic imaging department.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated ultrasound equipment.
- Take into account individual patient's special or age-related needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
Requirements
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- Within 6 months (180 days) of hire National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- New graduates must be board eligible and obtain certification (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire.
- New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years Clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
- 2 years OBGYN sonography experience for,,,,,
