Key Responsibilities
The Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for the following:
1. Initiating requests for quotes (RFQs) and selecting suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
2. Negotiating and managing long-term pricing agreements for essential commodities.
3. Reviewing requisitions and converting them into purchase orders within the procurement system.
4. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.

Additional Duties

Qualifications

Education and Experience
A four-year degree in business or materials management, along with a minimum of four years of experience in a manufacturing setting, is preferred.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
