We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Penn State Health.

Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and maintaining accurate and detailed medical records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans to promote optimal patient outcomes
  • Administer medications to patients while monitoring for reactions and side effects, and maintain accurate medication records
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure timely interventions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
  • BLS certification prior to completion of orientation
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S): Bachelor's degree in Nursing
