As a Culinary Specialist, you will play a vital role in our kitchen, ensuring that our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals tailored to their dietary needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing daily cooking, preparation, and sanitation tasks.
  • Assisting in the management of inventory and supplies to guarantee meal completeness.
  • Collaborating closely with the Food Service Director and Registered Dietitian to design and implement meal plans.
  • Maintaining comprehensive recipe binders for all menu items.
  • Inspecting food deliveries to uphold our high-quality standards.
  • Participating in special events related to food services.
  • Upholding rigorous sanitation standards throughout food preparation and service.
  • Ensuring accurate meal service and appropriate food substitutions to meet dietary requirements.

Qualifications:

We prefer candidates with prior experience in nursing home culinary services. A minimum of five years in restaurant or food service roles is required.
