Job Description

A Senior Civil Engineer plays a pivotal role in our land development team, driving technical excellence and innovation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conceptual planning and detailed grading for civil engineering construction projects
  • Preparing stormwater management calculations and developing basin routings, channel design, and inlet capacity calculations
  • Generating pipe profiles and reviewing stormwater designs based on project constraints
  • Evaluating alternatives, recommending solutions, and providing technical support to peers and management
  • Producing construction drawings, plans, and cost estimates
  • Coordinating PADEP Chapter 102 and Chapter 105 permits, including NPDES permits and General Permits
  • Developing Erosion & Sedimentation Pollution Control (E&SPC) and Post-Construction Stormwater Management (PCSM) plan sets and reports
  • Maintaining compliance with company standards for AutoCAD procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification preferred
  • 2-4 years of civil engineering experience
  • Proven AutoCAD Civil 3D skills with ability to design from concept plans through construction plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
