We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at the University of Miami/UHealth - Doral Department of Anesthesiology. As a CRNA, you will work collaboratively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other medical professionals to deliver high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing medical and surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care to patients, including pre-operative assessment, anesthesia administration, and post-operative recovery.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement anesthesia care plans.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments, including reviewing medical history, evaluating patients, and determining the most appropriate methods of anesthesia.
- Administer and maintain anesthesia, monitoring patient vital signs and adjusting anesthesia as needed to ensure patient safety.
- Oversee patient recovery from anesthesia, providing care and support to patients during the post-operative period.
- Develop and maintain anesthesia care plans, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest anesthesia techniques and technologies, participating in ongoing education and professional development.
- Master's degree from an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia Program (CRNA)
- Valid Florida CRNA License, BLS/ACLS/PALS required
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
