Essential Duties:
- Enhance customer relationships within a collaborative sales framework.
- Oversee delivery schedules as established by the logistics team; address any issues that arise during the order fulfillment process.
- Manage accounts receivable in coordination with the credit department and clients; ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by leveraging market intelligence, business directories, and networking at industry events.
- Stay informed about market trends, product advancements, and competitor offerings; share insights with clients as part of our value-added services.
- Travel to current and potential clients to ensure product delivery, which may involve lifting and transporting items weighing up to 75 lbs.

Internal:
Collaborate with District Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, VP of Local Sales, Accounting/Credit Department, Merchandising and Marketing, Operations, and Customer Contact.
External:
Engage with customers, vendors, and potential clients.
Work Environment:
Regularly work outside the office in various weather conditions while visiting clients.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Preferred 1+ year of sales experience.
- Experience in the foodservice industry, culinary arts, restaurant management, or hospitality is advantageous.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, along with effective presentation abilities.
- Ability to foster relationships and conduct cold calls to generate new business.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with a competitive spirit.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Team-oriented approach to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office; experience with Customer Relationship Management tools is preferred.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Licenses:
Valid driver's license required; must maintain a good motor vehicle record.
Physical Qualifications:
Must be capable of performing the following physical activities as required for the role:
- Frequent standing, walking, and driving.
- Occasional lifting of weights up to 100 lbs.
- Frequent carrying of weights up to 20 lbs.
- Occasional bending, kneeling, and squatting.
