Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a culture of continuous improvement across four manufacturing sites in the US and Mexico.
- Leverage Lean/Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement Framework strategies to improve competitiveness and organizational capability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results and advance our capabilities through new automation and Industry 4.0 solutions.
- Manage a small team directly and lead and mentor other members of the CI organization within individual sites.
- Coach and support plants in developing CI roadmaps and setting stretch goals to support the organization's strategy for model plant status.
- Conduct Eaton Lean System (ELS) assessments and identify performance gaps, working with leadership teams to prioritize improvement activities and close gaps.
- Lead improvement activities, including training, mentoring, facilitating Kaizen events, Six Sigma projects, tool deployment, benchmarking, and more.
- Support Site Leadership in the selection of Site CI leaders and provide key input to identify potential candidates for CI certification programs.
- Lead the division in all Eaton business internal audit requirements, ensuring plant teams are prepared.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
- Minimum 8 years of experience with progressive levels of accountability and responsibility in Manufacturing/Operations, Continuous Improvement, and/or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Formal training/certification in Lean (5S, Standard work, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Setup Reduction (SUR), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean Material Flow (LMF) and 6 Sigma with at least 5 years of related experience.
- Experience managing/leading others in a manufacturing setting.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Master's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of direct people management experience.
- Operations, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence ownership within a multi-site operation preferred.
- Understanding of best-in-class manufacturing within a complex, multinational organization.
- Experience in the automotive industry a plus.
Eaton Corporation offers a competitive salary range of $136,500.03 - $200,200.04 per year, as well as a variable incentive program. We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
