About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at SJE Inc. in Detroit Lakes, MN. As a key member of our Information Technology Team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to our internal employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist internal employees with IT Helpdesk support calls to prevent and troubleshoot technology issues.
  • Install and configure hardware and software, including PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and phones.
  • Prepare new computers for installation, including loading operating systems, application software, and installing necessary hardware, security, and login information.
  • Provide first-line support for ITSM Solution, reporting issues, solutions, and escalations.
Requirements
  • Exceptional communication skills and self-motivation.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex technology issues across a wide spectrum of software and hardware components.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365 applications, Jira/IT Ticketing Systems, remote desktop support, and a 2-year Computer Technology degree or equivalent work experience.
