Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at the Advanced Dermatology Center. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing clinical support to ensure the efficient operation of our medical office. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring vital signs, communicating with patients and doctors, and assisting with various tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication.
Responsibilities:- Monitor vital signs and document patient information
- Communicate effectively with patients and doctors
- Assist with patient care management, organization, and communication
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
- Deliver exceptional patient experiences and help patients prepare for their provider visit
- Obtain vital signs, chief complaints, and review medications
- Order supplies and stock exam rooms
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, safe, and ready for patient visits
- Provide telephonic support to patients under the direction of a Dr., provider, and/or protocol
- Apply or assist with the application of durable medical equipment
- Participate in care team meetings to discuss patient care and clinic operations
- Proven working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary
- Preferred fluency in Spanish, or Polish, or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve (where necessary and indicated in Job title)
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills, ability to work with limited supervision once trained
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
- Sales experience a plus
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Education and Experience:We are seeking a Medical Assistant with a strong background in medical office management and a proven track record of providing exceptional patient care. A medical assistant certification (CCMA) is preferred but not required.
Work Schedule:We offer a variety of shifts to accommodate your schedule, including day shifts. Our clinic is open Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
