Production Supervisor Job Description

At Echo Lake Foods, Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with managers, quality assurance, maintenance techs, and maintenance leads to meet daily production targets.
  • Enforce company policies, including GMPs, SOPs, SSOPs, and safety policies.
  • Monitor production from mixing to packing, ensuring proper ingredients, oven speeds, oven temps, packing materials, and date codes.
  • Delegate tasks and ensure proper equipment setup and maintenance.
  • Communicate production-related issues to management and work with departments to resolve them.
  • Inspect production lines to ensure product meets specifications.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and ensure production-related paperwork is completed and turned in on time.
  • Reprimand employees as necessary with final approval from management and HR.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly production floor and work area.
  • Train and enforce production procedures.
Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate in English (written and oral).
  • BI-LINGUAL IN SPANISH/ENGLISH is required.
  • Good math skills.
  • Ability to supervise and train people.
  • Prior production experience required.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Word and Excel proficiency.
