Position: AV Systems Commissioning Specialist

Role Overview:

  • Interpret and analyze electronic schematics and architectural designs
  • Verify point-to-point functionality of systems
  • Assess project Scope of Work (SOW) to ensure installation quality
  • Conduct troubleshooting for AMX/Crestron and DSP systems
  • Install control programs (AMX/Crestron) and implement programming modifications
  • Configure IP addressable devices for network communication
  • Facilitate client training and complete job documentation
  • Manage project Punchlist creation and execution
  • Travel to various job sites as required

Qualifications We Seek:

  • Strong communication and professionalism with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent business writing capabilities
  • Expertise in testing and calibration equipment
  • Management of user acceptance testing
  • Ability to diagnose complex system issues
  • Knowledge of advanced signal flow concepts
  • Understanding of IP networking
  • Proficient in PC operations
  • Capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Independent thinking with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Valid Driver's License and a minimum of a High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education in electronics or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in AV installation
  • Familiarity with Enterprise VC solutions (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, etc.)
  • AVIXA General CTS certification
