Key Responsibilities:
  • Function as the primary trusted advisor to high net worth clients, ensuring retention and generating referrals.
  • Support the team's Regional Vice Presidents and Managing Directors as a subject matter expert in investments, tax, pension, estate, insurance, and general financial planning.
  • Analyze, draft, edit, deliver, and present financial planning modules to clients.
  • Manage client communications and follow-up with clients' other advisors.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards of client care, meetings, referrals, and retention.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Seven to twenty-five years of job-related experience.
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, with additional certifications such as Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Investment Consultant (CIC), or Series 65 (S65) considered.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of and ability to present investment, finance, insurance, and tax planning concepts.
  • Excellent client focus and client-oriented position, with sales aptitude and experience highly desired.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with experience with Salesforce and financial planning software preferred.
Work Environment:

The Wealth Advisor II will work in a professional office environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality work and exceptional client service. The position requires a high level of flexibility, with up to 50% travel for client meetings and national educational trainings.
