Role Summary:

The primary responsibility of this role is to evaluate residents' needs, create personalized care plans, deliver nursing services, assess the effectiveness of care, and oversee nursing assistants and other staff in providing nursing services. This oversight must align with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, as well as directives from the Director of Nursing Services or their designee, ensuring the highest quality of care is consistently maintained. Adhere to all health, sanitation, and infection control protocols while upholding established standards of practice as defined by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid, unrestricted RN license in the state of employment.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Proficient in English with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute both verbal and written directives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and community staff.
  • Knowledge of proper safety and sanitation practices.
  • Willingness to work scheduled hours as required by the position.
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Shifts: Flexible
  • Compensation: Up to $45.00 per hour
