About the Job
Product Connections is seeking a talented Part Time Event Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and promoting products in a retail store environment.

Responsibilities
The Associate is responsible for leading in-store food and non-food demonstrations, maintaining knowledge of represented products, and serving, demonstrating, and selling products in a professional manner. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining event execution equipment in stores, ensuring cleanliness and proper storage.
  • Communicating with store management about upcoming events and past event execution when the supervisor is absent.
  • Serving as the point person for all events conducted in the store and assisting other Event Specialists with event kits, materials, and tools as needed.
  • Providing leadership and knowledge to the team and possessing the aptitude to gain adequate product knowledge.
  • Intercepting, engaging, interacting, and selling products to consumers in a positive manner.
  • Preparing and serving food samples using small appliances while adhering to food safety guidelines.
  • Maintaining a clean, sterile, and safe work station using cleaning chemicals.
  • Ensuring a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
  • Setting up and preparing the event table for execution.
  • Completing all assigned work and assisting with preparation for client visits and audit corrections.
  • Building rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
  • Submitting expense reports and digital photos of Perfect Table Setup.

Requirements
To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent experience and training.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to navigate internal systems.
  • A Food Safety Professional Certification and local food handlers permit (if required).
  • The ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and lift up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds).
  • The capacity to push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies, and product.

Working Conditions
This part-time role involves working in a retail store environment with limited travel. You will be expected to maintain a professional appearance and adhere to specific retailer dress code requirements.

Compensation
The estimated hourly salary for this position is $14.00.
