Position Summary: The Bulk Material Hauler is tasked with the efficient delivery of cement powder. This role ensures that you will return home each night while contributing to significant projects. You will take pride in your responsibilities by conducting inspections and maintenance on the vehicle, fostering positive customer relations, and collaborating with a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport cement powder and related equipment as required.
  • Perform routine maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment.
  • Conduct pre and post-shift inspections and assist with necessary repairs.
  • Set up and dismantle job sites as needed.
  • Document any maintenance concerns in the truck logbook and communicate issues to the supervisor.
  • Ensure loads are secured in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Maintain vehicles in a clean and organized manner.
  • Exhibit a team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn various roles, including dispatching and mechanics.
  • Be prepared to undertake additional duties as required.

Position Requirements:

  • Consent to a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record check, and drug testing.
  • Valid Class A CDL with doubles and pneumatic cement bulker endorsement, along with a Medical DOT card.
  • Personal protective equipment is mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Dependability and punctuality are essential.
  • A positive demeanor is crucial for maintaining productive relationships with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and dusty environments.
  • Overnight travel may be required occasionally.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to reach at or above shoulder level.
  • Ability to push, pull, twist, bend, and perform various physical tasks.
  • Comfortable sitting, standing, and balancing for extended periods.
  • Proficient in operating hand and foot controls.
  • Ability to lift, lower, and carry loads exceeding 50 pounds.
  • Ability to squat, stoop, crouch, kneel, and crawl as necessary.
