Cancer Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Oncology Infusion Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Brown Cancer Center.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position responsible for providing direct clinical services to oncology patients in various stages of treatment while in the infusion center.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct patient health histories and physical examinations, documenting findings and narrative summaries within the medical record.
- Order and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests, explaining risks and benefits to patients and family members.
- Formulate and initiate treatment plans for symptom management in collaboration with oncology physicians and the multidisciplinary team.
- Utilize prescriptive privileges within the confines of Kentucky state law.
- Masters degree required.
- Valid Advanced Practice Nursing Licensure in the state of Kentucky.
- Additional Oncology certification preferred.
We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
