  • Conduct preliminary investigations, gather evidence, and make arrests as necessary
  • Provide support to the community through proactive policing and community engagement
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to share intelligence and best practices
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest law enforcement techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Utah POST Certification
  • Valid Utah Driver's License
  • At least five years of full-time sworn experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of law enforcement methods and procedures
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with the public
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure
