Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Activities Assistant to join our team at ProMedica. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing daily activity programs for our residents and supporting the Activities Coordinator in delivering a comprehensive range of program services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement daily activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the Activities Coordinator to ensure seamless delivery of program services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and their families, demonstrating tact, sensitivity, and professionalism at all times.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with residents with dementia and appropriate therapeutic/behavioral interventions
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner
  • Physical ability to push/pull and lift/carry up to 20 pounds, unassisted, on a frequent basis
