Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Server Assistant to join our team at the Houlihan's Restaurant + Bar. As a Server Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional guest service and maintaining a clean and organized dining room and guest service area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Assist servers with the service of food and beverages to guests, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Pour coffee and water for guests as needed, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Restock dining and service areas, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Ensure condiments are amply supplied on guest tables prior to seating, showcasing attention to detail and a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning sheets, upholding high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Forward guest concerns to the applicable wait staff person or supervisor, demonstrating a commitment to resolving issues and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Must be 16 years of age or older.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Demonstrate an ability to work in an organized and efficient manner, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Must demonstrate an ability to work with limited supervision, taking initiative and making decisions independently.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers and staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Must present a clean and appropriate image, adhering to company standards and expectations.
Job Demands
  • The working schedule for this position includes a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to work on one's feet for long periods of time, demonstrating physical stamina and endurance.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, push, and lift up to 40 pounds, showcasing physical ability and strength.
  • Must work in a clean, efficient, and orderly manner, upholding high standards of cleanliness and organization.
