We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Pediatric Primary Care team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient examinations and treatments
- Obtain vital signs, record patient information, and maintain accurate medical records
- Coordinate patient flow, schedule appointments, and communicate with patients and families
- Triaging phone calls, processing prescriptions, and communicating with patients and families
- Work under close supervision of the physician and clinic manager
Requirements
- Completion of a medical assistant program or 1 year experience in a clinical capacity
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Computer literate with skills in Microsoft Outlook, electronic health records, and other software programs
