Position Summary:
Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will focus on enhancing students' communication skills and will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to foster student development and academic achievement.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation: Perform comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language capabilities, including articulation, comprehension, and social communication skills.
  • Therapeutic Intervention: Create and execute tailored therapy plans that address individual speech and language requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside educators, parents, and school personnel to incorporate therapy objectives into the classroom setting and promote student advancement.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure precise documentation of evaluations, therapy strategies, and student progress, providing regular updates to parents and school administration.
  • Professional Consultation: Provide expert advice and training to school staff on effective methods for assisting students with communication difficulties.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC-SLP or Clinical Rehabilitative Services Credential).
  • Experience: Previous experience in an educational environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities, with a proven capacity to engage effectively with a diverse student body.
