Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Adhere to designated work hours while performing inspections, prioritizing safety and quality.
- Report any exceptions to the supervisor promptly.
- Evaluate equipment according to established safety guidelines.
- Document findings and provide corrective recommendations, including issuing a "Safety Notification" for any identified safety issues.
- Engage with customers to discuss repair intentions and advise on necessary actions for compliance.
- Consult with clients on repair and safety matters, offering recommendations to enhance safety and productivity.
- Utilize digital tools for documentation, ensuring customer signatures and acceptance are obtained.
- Gather comprehensive data for quotations, including equipment details and repair requirements.
- Stay informed on OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI, and other relevant regulations, maintaining updated knowledge.
- Prepare inspection reports and other necessary documentation in a professional manner, submitting them timely.
- Maintain consistent communication with the service office and supervisor.
- Coordinate with the Service Supervisor to manage work schedules effectively.
- Ensure all company equipment and vehicles are maintained in safe working order.
- Keep the service vehicle stocked with necessary forms and materials, documenting any use or sales.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and presentable appearance.
- Participate in regular safety meetings to promote a culture of safety.
- Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in overhead crane technology.
- Certification to perform compliance inspections in accordance with California regulations is required.
- Knowledge of relevant sections of the California Code of Regulations and industry standards is essential.
- Associate's degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
Compensation: $48.00/hour, with benefits provided by the employer.
