Job Overview
Position Title: Beverage Server
Department: Beverage Services
Reports to: Beverage Supervisor
Compensation: $5.52 to $7.78 per hour plus tips, shift differentials, and incentive pay.
Primary Objective: To expertly serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to patrons in a prompt and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and take drink orders with a friendly demeanor while navigating the gaming area.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
- Maintain a positive attitude and avoid disputes with customers.
- Provide exemplary service to every guest.
- Exhibit a friendly and courteous attitude at all times.
- Possess thorough knowledge of casino operations and provide accurate information to guests.
- Prepare and process all drink orders efficiently.
- Ensure that all service areas, including the bar, are stocked and maintained to the highest cleanliness standards.
- Communicate any issues to the beverage supervisor promptly, either in writing or verbally, to ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Monitor and report any guests who may require service denial to supervisors.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possession of a valid bartender license is required.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Capable of carrying serving trays filled with beverages.
- Proficient in handling cash and making change.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability for a flexible work schedule as needed.
- Completion of Title 31 training is mandatory.
