Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in testing procedures and equipment such as gradations, proctors, nuclear density gauges, DCP field testing, sand cone density testing, field concrete testing, and concrete cylinder testing.
  • Conducting field testing and observations of construction materials, including concrete, soils, aggregate, masonry, asphalt, and reinforcing steel.
  • Communicating with project managers, clients, and contractors at work sites.
  • Additional miscellaneous assignments on an as-needed basis.

Required education and experience include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pursuing an engineering, geology, environmental, or related degree.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry 30-50 pounds.

We estimate this position to pay between $20-$25 per hour, depending on location and experience. Benefits may include paid time off, health insurance, and retirement plans.
