Job Overview

Personalized Therapy LLC is actively looking for dedicated Behavior Technicians to take on Full-Time and Part-Time roles in supporting children with diverse needs. The successful candidates will provide ABA support in various environments, including educational institutions, residences, and daycare facilities. This position focuses on assisting children in enhancing their academic, behavioral, communication, and social skills.

Position Summary:

As an ABA Technician, you will execute individualized, one-on-one applied behavioral interventions for clients with disabilities, under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Our organization delivers ABA therapy in local schools, clients' homes, and during community outings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement tailored instructional programs grounded in ABA principles.
  • Follow a documented behavior protocol meticulously.
  • Collect and maintain accurate treatment data, including program data books and graphs.
  • Participate in all mandatory meetings and training sessions.
  • Attend required monthly workshops for each client on your caseload.
  • Serve as a positive role model for families and community members regarding acceptance and treatment.
  • Comply with HIPAA regulations and uphold strict confidentiality standards.
  • Ensure safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the company dress code.
  • Accept and implement supervisory feedback constructively.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and legislation in ABA and Autism.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Preferred: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, early childhood development, special education, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with children.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist clients with adaptive equipment.
  • Capability to maintain various physical postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods.
  • Willingness to engage in physical restraint or transport as needed, following the Behavior Intervention Plan.
  • Manual dexterity for data collection using computers and electronic devices.
  • Must be physically present at assigned job locations, which may include home, school, and community settings.
  • Visual acuity to read and understand written communication via electronic devices and printed materials.
  • Possession of a valid Maryland Driver's License and insurance in good standing.
