Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Specialist to join our team at Christian Living Communities. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and daily living activities.
  • Anticipate and identify resident care needs, reporting to supervisors as necessary.
  • Respond to the needs of family members and maintain open communication with the care team.
  • Monitor the safety and well-being of residents, reporting any concerns or incidents.
  • Assist with medication management and ensure proper documentation.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of care plans.
Requirements
  • One year of experience in elder care or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Health Management systems.
  • Strong self-management and organization skills.
  • Ability to effectively handle difficult situations and maintain confidentiality.
Working Conditions

This role requires moderate physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting. You may be exposed to blood-borne pathogens, body excretions, and communicable diseases. A safe and supportive work environment is provided.
