Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records and generate reports encompassing personnel, production metrics, project logs, status updates, and other operational data.
  • Organize and direct daily field operations, setting objectives, timelines, and goals.
  • Analyze construction documents to ascertain requirements and devise procedural plans.
  • Ensure job site safety through regular site inspections, training sessions, and consistent communication with staff and subcontractors.
  • Oversee project progress, reviewing team processes and practices to guarantee consistency, efficiency, and quality in project delivery.
  • Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members.
  • Guide Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and other field personnel in executing tasks; foster relationships and clearly communicate expectations regarding schedules, construction methodologies, policies, and standards.
  • Track project schedules and budgets, collaborating with Superintendents to maintain and update as necessary. Engage with subcontractors to formulate recovery plans when required. Conduct regular meetings with staff and subcontractors to address progress, challenges, and assist in overcoming obstacles to project completion.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 7-10 years of experience as a Superintendent on construction projects, or a minimum of 1 year as a Senior Superintendent on a construction project.
  • In-depth knowledge of scheduling, cost management, and safety protocols.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various construction trades, including but not limited to carpentry, concrete work, structural steel, and interior build-outs.
  • Proven experience in managing performance and leading a diverse field team.
  • Proficient in general computer skills (MS Office, Procore, Scheduling software).
  • Valid Driver's License is required.

Vision: Ability to see within the normal visual range, with or without correction.

Hearing: Ability to hear within the normal audio range, with or without correction.
