Cybersecurity Architect Opportunity

A leading company in the Metals industry is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Architect to join their growing IT team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a global organization in a business-critical function, with the autonomy to build processes and interact directly with key decision makers.

This is a full-time, direct-hire permanent position with a hybrid work arrangement, requiring 3 days/week on-site in Lisle, IL. The organization is unable to sponsor or transfer visas at this time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure network architectures
  • Develop and maintain network security policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies
  • Provide expert advice to business leaders on security-related matters

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in network and network security, with a strong understanding of route/switch and IP protocols. Experience with log management, SaaS-based EDR, and other cybersecurity tools is also required. A CCNA, CISSP, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
